Skyharbour Resources Ltd. (SYH:TSX.V; SYHBF:OTCQB) announced in a news release that its partner Azincourt Energy intends to conduct a phase two drill program this winter at the East Preston uranium project in the western region of the Athabasca Basin in Saskatchewan.
The program slated for 2019-2020 and budgeted at CA$1.2 million, will consist of 15 diamond holes drilled over 2,000–2,500 meters testing numerous high-priority targets. Azincourt already began obtaining the necessary permits and prioritizing its many targets.
To delineate the best targets, Azincourt is relying on results of the versatile time-domain electromagnetic and magnetic survey conducted over the property earlier this year, information garnered from the 2018 ground electromagnetic and gravity geophysical surveys, and findings from the 2019 drill program.
The latter confirmed the prospectivity of East Preston. "The data emphatically says we have as good a uranium exploration project as you're going to find anywhere," Azincourt President and CEO Alex Klenman said in the release. "This is the right place and the right time."
