Many environmentalists are pushing Congress to pass major climate change legislation this year that would require businesses to steadily reduce their carbon emission levels from fossil fuels through the year 2050.

Nuclear energy is making a comeback thanks in part to its longtime opponents, the Greens.

Many environmentalists are pushing Congress to pass major climate change legislation this year that would require businesses to steadily reduce their carbon emission levels from fossil fuels through the year 2050.

And the nuclear industry, supported by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and a herd of Fortune 500 energy companies, is positioning its product — alongside corn ethanol and wind power — as a cleaner alternative fuel to coal and gas as it pushes Congress for more funding and other help to expand.
